Jacob is the oldest. He graduated December of 2021 from HOPE COLLEGE with a Bachelor’s degree in BIOLOGY. He serves the State of Michigan with an eye towards conservation as a DNR Conservation Officer protecting the natural resources of our great state. He was an Offensive Right Guard for HOPE COLLEGE’s O-Line from 2019-2021 (MIAA Champs 2019-2020-COVID SEASON 2021.) He graduated from the State of Michigan LED DNR Conservation Officer Academy in December of 2022. He married in 2024. Jacob is a conservative thinker. He looks at life through many angles before he determines what his opinion will be and how he will navigate each new situation. He is a great big brother and is a wonderful role model both athletically and academically. His hobbies include woodworking, 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting, snow-sports, water-sports, and ORVing. Here is his award winning canoe that he built while a junior in high school. His first place finish in the State of Michigan in his category was such an honor! He has made many fabulous woodworking projects and remains hooked on this gorgeous art-form.
Joshua is the youngest! He is a confident athlete and academic wonder. If electronics give one a problem, Josh is the man to solve that problem! He does the graphic work here! He is an Engineering major concentrating in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING at HOPE COLLEGE working towards his Bachelor’s Degree, on schedule to graduate in May of 2025. Josh plays football at HOPE COLLEGE 2022-2024 currently, except on the DEFENSIVE side as a linebacker. He has the ability to laugh at himself and finds the zest in life at every turn! He is super adventurous. He is quick to help anyone at any time with anything. Definitely a man of service! Josh’s hobbies are very similar to Jacob’s as they do many things together. Not only are they brothers, but they enjoy hanging out with each other! Here are some cool woodworking projects that Josh built. He was a State Finalist for this jewelry box (2nd in the State of Michigan in his category.) He created it as a gift to his mother. From the little details like velvet lined pull-drawers inside the outer jewelry box doors to the mirrored depths of the necklace hanging area, one can observe his extreme talent as a woodcrafter. He is also a water lover and spends a lot of time fishing and playing on the water in the summer.
